Dear Wildcat Families,
At GLE, one of our biggest commitments is keeping our families connected! Each week, you receive a campus newsletter, and you also receive updates from your child’s teacher about upcoming events, important reminders, and what students are learning in the classroom. We hope this is helping keep you informed about what the Greenleaf Elementary experience is all about!
This week, we want to take that communication one step further! We invite you to schedule a parent-teacher conference to talk one-on-one about your child’s progress and review their MAP results together. Please reach out directly to your child’s teacher to find a time that works for you. We love partnering with you to help our Wildcats grow!
On a different note, student campus job interviews are happening this week! Our 3rd–5th grade applicants will be notified Tuesday the time for their sit-down interview with Ms. Smoot, me, or one of our district administrators will take place! All interviews will take place Wednesday, September 16 during school hours. Our students will be notified Monday, September 21st if they have been selected for the position!
Our goal is to give students a fun, meaningful glimpse into the real-world experience of applying and interviewing for a job, all while building confidence, communication skills, and responsibility!
